Dear Chaplin, my lovely black banty, he was a 'free-be' chick,a black and white devil,who strutted about as though he was clockwork, hence the name Chaplin after Charlie Chaplin.

he would tap on the window to come in so he could roost under the dinner table.He loved nothing more than to settle on your lap where he would fall asleep so soundly he would snore. He fathered a handful of chicks but sadly fell prey to the fox one evening, we were all quietly bereft at the loss of dear Chaplin.
